Master of Engineering - Advanced Manufacturing Technology

The Master of Engineering (Advanced Manufacturing Technology) now incorporates the Master of Technology (Advanced Manufacturing Technology) and the Graduate Certificate of Engineering (Advanced Manufacturing Technology).

Students can elect to undertake an honours program, resulting in a total course duration of two years.

The program includes units on advanced manufacturing processes, intelligent inspection systems and sustainable design and manufacturing.

Students can undertake a number of elective units including:

  • Work systems in manufacturing
  • Rapid manufacturing and tooling
  • Nanofabrication technologies
  • Six sigma

The program aims to provide students with an understanding of manufacturing technologies and skills required for modern industry in a global setting.

Graduates may find employment as a design, systems, production or manufacturing engineer in industries such as automotive, appliance or discrete manufacturing.
