Swinburne’s Associate Degree in Engineering provides a broad-based entry point to employment as an associate engineer in half the time it takes to complete a bachelor degree.


Pathways

Students looking to further their qualification can articulate into a bachelor degree in civil, electrical or mechanical engineering. They will receive up to 1.5 years of exemptions, allowing them to complete a bachelor degree after an additional 2.5 years of study and become a fully-qualified engineer.


Professional recognition

Upon successful completion of the Associate degree, students may be eligible for membership of Engineers Australia at Associate Level (Engineering Officer).
