The Bachelor of Technology (Aviation) aims to prepare students for careers in aviation as professional pilots. Skill training and theory is weighted equally to equip students with a high level of flying prowess and the ability to solve problems through the application of methodical and rational thinking. Students also undertake training towards their Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL).

The Bachelor of Technology (Air Transport Management) is designed for those who’d prefer to keep their feet on the ground.

Air Transport Management covers the organisational aspects of commercial aircraft and airport operation. The course prepares students for careers in a range of areas including:

• Airline management
• Airline flight/ground operations
• Airport management and planning
• Aviation regulatory and safety services

Double up with a Bachelor of Business

Students can also elect to undertake a Bachelor of Business double degree.
The Bachelor of Technology (Aviation) / Bachelor of Business includes theory required up to Air Transport

Pilot Licence (ATPL) standard and facilitates graduates to enter the aviation business in the management area.

Bachelor of Technology (Air Transport Management) /
Bachelor of Business aims to expand the range of employment opportunities into management areas.

Both courses are open to mid-year intake.
